Maurizio Cunningham-Brown
VP - Business Innovation & Technology Maurizio Cunningham-Brown brings over 30 years’ experience in the information systems, financing, investment and commercial lending market, along with more than 15 years expertise in the Housing, Shelter and Commercial property space; and in his VP role is ensuring pOrbis fully supports the rapidly growing real estate sector. Maurizio has a unique and diverse skill set. Working in the finance and commercial lending space, he successfully doubled PSA Wholesale corporation volumes to $500m, while trebling profitability to over $120m. His first pan European venture started in Italy in 1995 through the commercial retail market, where his company, Alison Srl, developed innovative information systems to track, measure and monitor sales, logistical information and profitability from over 30,000 independent retailers. The company expanded to encompass all the major European Markets. He and his partners then sold this to Snap-on, a $3Bn Corporation, where Mr. Cunningham-Brown was retained as Director to expand operations into Asia Pacific, South America, Mexico and Canada. In the commercial property world he runs his property investment company, Brine Co which is principally invested in the development and rental of retail properties. He also serves on the Executive Management Board of 500 Group Inc., an intellectual property, investment and development company. 500 Group holds 43 US (USPTO) and 15 European patents (EPO) covering a diverse mix of inventions and intellectual property in a wide range of areas and encompassing construction and automotive. Mr. Cunningham-Brown’s latest ventures include using his expertise in real estate, property development and automotive arenas. As President, he has developed the American Dream project with his partners, where they have completed the first round of funding with $2,000,000 secured. The production Campus location has been identified, 100 acres of land secured (value $1,500,000) and are working in full partnership with Michigan State government, the local county and city. The total investment to date when including the $1,500,000 invested in developing, patenting and trialing the technology is over $5,000,000. They hold exclusive IP and Patents, granted in April 2013, which will revolutionize the Commercial, Shelter and Housing markets globally, while developing a completely new multi-Billion $ market sector. Maurizio studied Economics and Accountancy in his early years and is an alumni of Manchester University in England, and he also has a post degree in Mathematics and Econometrics obtained during his time in Italy. |

Gert Horstmeyer
VP - Automotive Innovation & Global Chairman MOTORcheckUP Dr. Gert Horstmeyer, born in Hamlin/Germany, is in charge of the Automotive Innovation Division at pOrbis. He is also the Inventor and Global Chairman of MOTORcheckUP, an innovative product to test the condition of an combustion engine with one single drop of engine oil only. Gert started his professional career as surveying and civil engineer where he worked on International projects to plan and build roads, airports and aircraft shelters. Afterwards he had leading positions in Sales and Marketing at companies such as Hoechst in Germany. Gert is a true entrepreneur and also has setup and run businesses over the past 27 years. He is passionate about solving problems, thus, he invented several products and marketed them with great success. He filed several patents worldwide for his inventions, incl. the innovative MOTORcheckUP products. As per 2013, his MOTORcheckUP partners are working in 60 countries worldwide to distribute his product innovations. Gert studied Marketing and Communication at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and also holds a PhD. |
Bastian Pukrop
Senior Director - Strategy & Business Services Bastian Pukrop has over 15 years of experience in developing and implementing Management Information Systems & Services. Bastian is a Senior Director for pOrbis and is in charge for Strategy Development & Implementation. Bastian has been supporting global operating businesses in implementing systems and processes to measure, analyze and improve the performance of their retail outlets. When he was working for Snap-on Business Solutions in Germany, he was coordinating the first European roll-out of a new Business Management consulting service for Ford dealerships. This reference project was rolled-out with great success and set the benchmark for the final launch across all European markets. The customer awarded the outstanding results with the best customer satisfaction feedback ever. In 2012, Bastian relocated to the USA to work on different consulting projects (i.e. supporting businesses in the US market entry). Bastian holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Wolfsburg, Germany. |
